Warm, Light & Cosy Bedding - Duvet (also called doona, doonah or comforter) The less sought after portions of the alpaca fleece are used to make some of the lightest and warmest duvets (or doonas) available anywhere in the world. The light touch of a doona (duvet, comforter or doonah) made with alpaca fleece, combined with its high insulation properties, make it one of the warmest bedding products available. The combination of lightness with its near-perfect insulation properties, ensures a full and restful sleep on the coolest of evenings. The alpaca fleece for our doonas / duvets is produced locally at Benbellen Country Retreat on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales Australia. The alpaca fibre is carefully selected, combed, carded and washed before being inserted into a quilted duvet of the lightest and most durable cotton sheeting and hand-finished for the owners in Hannam Vale NSW Australia. Queen sized doonahs are standard "in stock" items with other sizes made to order. 100% Natural Pillows Alpaca fibre (80%) and high quality wool (20%) are combined in these lightweight pillows (800g for the soft pillow and 1000g for the firm pillow). All new fibre and wool are combined in a pure japara cotton cover. 100% Natural Bedding Duvet (Doona Comforter) and pillow prices: All pricing is in Australian Dollars and includes GST where applicable as well as packing and postage anywhere in the Australia; delivery outside Australia is an additional $75 for duvets and $20 for pillows.
